SHADOW SPACES 10

Kavitha’s earlier watercolours, painted on matt archival boards, were transparent and ethereal in nature. In this series, she focuses on delineated solid objects, playing with light to create dusty, shadowy spaces. The rugged handmade paper was repeatedly washed, scrubbed and painted in the process of investigating new media–art form relationships.
