SILENT EXPRESSIONS

Kavitha spent long hours on the campus of the Indian Institute of Technology reflecting on, and sketching these beautiful trees. Some of the paintings are quiet and pale. Others glow with strength and colour. These unique watercolours became the ensemble titled ‘Silent Expressions’. She says: “The solid trees against the background scrub all washed in light and coloured by the time of day and season inspired these paintings.”
